Custom pallets built around the shipment

Custom pallets are useful when a standard footprint does not fit the product, weight distribution, handling equipment, racking system, or shipping method. The design starts with the shipment—not a generic pallet catalogue.

Information used to plan a custom pallet

Share the overall load dimensions and weight, contact points, centre of gravity where relevant, lifting method, racking conditions, planned number of uses, and destination. Drawings, photos, an existing sample, and packaging constraints help clarify the requirement.

Construction decisions

Stringer or block construction, deck-board spacing, entry configuration, fasteners, lumber selection, and reinforcement are considered in relation to the load. AR Pallets will not publish a load rating without the required engineering and operating information; the final specification should be approved for the intended use.

Domestic and export shipments

If the pallet will cross an international border, include the destination and receiving requirements at the start of the quote. Treatment and marking requirements can affect material, production, documentation, and timing.

Ordering custom pallets

Use the quote request page to send dimensions, quantity, destination, and timing. If the current pallet is failing, include photos and describe where the failure occurs. That makes the review more useful than simply asking for a stronger pallet.
